Kicksville Radio is where the loud sound spawned by Kicks Magazine abounds!

Kicksville Radio brings you non-stop, push-button radio like you have never heard before—herein your audio appendages shall be bathed and batted with with music from the vaunted vaults of Norton Records and Kicks Magazine! It’s just a little something to say thank you to everyone who has come along with us on this long musical joyride into a galaxy of lost 20th century beat music made by no-brows, no-counts and no-nonsense, garden variety geniuses who somehow managed to set their sounds onto little plastic platters. Their recordings may not have been heard on the radio back when they were made, or even in the generations that followed, but they will be now.

We are celebrating 44 years of Kicks Magazine by working on a new issue and by spinning every lost killer ever shouted about in the pages of Kicks past present and future, plus every small label effort that deserves the time of day as determined by us - it all has a home, finally, at beautiful Radio Kicksville! We’re thousands of songs closer to our destination of total romp n’ stomp dominance, and have a mess more records to add into our perpetual extraterrestrial blast! We’re thrilled to be officially beaming our invisible rays from the top o’ the tower, 24/7. Come aboard with comments and queries!

Not for your ears only!

MANY THANKS, EVERYONE, FROM KICKSVILLE RADIO!

KICKSTERS!

We’ve been working on the station for quite a while. The first thing we had to do was establish the name of the station, Kicksville Radio! To do that, we had to submit two hour long shows.

We put our noggins together for a couple of entertaining quickies.

Hope you dig Kicksville #1 and Kicksville #2, the first babysteps into Kicksdom!

You might also enjoy our companion show Crashing the Party!

Kicks!

Coming! Here’s the deal, spinning wheels - the last issue of Kicks was published in the 20th century, so I guess we can brag on this one being the first one is the 21st! Same badassitude, new stories, digging into the torrid, terrific lost worlds that we orbit in our tiny craft. We’re In with the Out Crowd, how ‘bout you?
